Confirmation Bias

    "Confirmation bias" refers to the tendency that people have to start with the conclusion and then try to conform all the facts to the theory in a favourable way, instead of weighing all the evidence and being led to this conclusion. This leaves the person with an argument that proves so much that it actually proves nothing.[1]
