Our real purpose
If you are in the agonizing process of questioning or even leaving the Message of the Hour, we want to help you. The purpose of this website is not to ridicule the message and it is not to throw rocks at William Branham. Our true purpose is to show those that are questioning the message that there is a deeper understanding of the Gospel and a closer relationship with Jesus Christ that is available for them.
Where are you?
There are a number of stages that people find themselves in:
I am in the message but I know there are problems. Where can I find out more?
If you are a true Christian, you will realize that there are huge spiritual problems, in message churches. For example, when people leave, they are shunned and forgotten. But Jesus told us:
- “Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them—what do you do? You leave the other ninety-nine sheep in the pasture and go looking for the one that got lost until you find it. When you find it, you are so happy that you put it on your shoulders and carry it back home. Then you call your friends and neighbours together and say to them, ‘I am so happy I found my lost sheep. Let us celebrate!’ In the same way, I tell you, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine respectable people who do not need to repent.[1]
We have compiled a huge list of questions for which we have tried to find answers, you will find our list of questions by clicking here. Simply click on each link to go to a discussion of the issues relating to the questions.
I have so many questions, can I talk to someone?
Listen to the Off The Shelf podcast! You will find interviews with people just like you.
You may be afraid to ask anyone about your questions for fear that they will judge you or possibly even turn their backs on you.
I no longer attend a message church
While you may no longer attend a message church, you may still be plagued with doubts. Is the message correct? Am I headed for the tribulation? Is there hope for anyone outside the message?
If you have honestly looked at these questions and the research provided in our analysis of each issue, you must question whether William Branham was a true prophet of God.
To help those who are now confronted with these issues and wonder what the next course of action should be, we would recommend the following links:
- How do I help people who are still in the message? Do I tell them the message is wrong or is there a better way? How do I interact with my spouse/family member/friend who is still in the message?
- Were should I go to church? Aren't denominations of the devil?
- So what should I believe now?
- What did Jesus say about asking questions?
- Should we abandon Christianity? Does it still make sense to follow Jesus after leaving the message?
- Testimonies of Former Followers
- You are not alone!!!
- Further research on William Branham - Research Sources for William Branham and His Message
- A video commentary on Christian cults
- If you are looking for non-message sources to help you grow spiritually - Resources that have helped us
