God spoke to the prophet Moses out of the burning bush and said "I AM THAT I AM". The Name "I Am" is the last three letters of the Hebrew word for Jehovah. A great light later appeared to Paul the Apostle, and a voice said: "I am Jesus of Nazareth, whom thou persecutest". Jesus also said of himself: "before Abraham was, I am."

The "I Am" is the eternal and only God of the Old Testament. He is also the eternal and only God of the New Testament. His name is Jesus.
