Quotes of William Branham

We find out, that, God was the Author of faith, to believe, for the people to believe and to trust His Word. And Satan is the author of wisdom, trying to get the people to accept his wisdom, and pull them away from the faith that's in God's Word.

...Now, God is the Author of faith. Satan is the author of wisdom. For, God gave His first children His Word, and told them they must believe This; and put a death, separation, punishment, if they fail to believe It.[1]

Eve, Satan told her the truth, and he never denied the Word being true, but that one little part of the Word caused all this trouble. The woman disbelieved It because she was hunting for wisdom instead of staying with the Word. [2]

Our wisdom here come from Satan. We inherited it from Eden where we swapped off faith for wisdom. Eve did it.[3]

Satan produced a better plan than God's; he produced wisdom. They eat from the tree of knowledge. 96 Wisdom always takes you away from God. Faith brings you back to God. You don't know God by your great wisdom.[4]
