George Smith - Mistakes were made

George Smith is William Branham's son-in-law, married to Rebekah Branham Smith (now deceased).
“He was God's prophet of the hour, God's mouthpiece. It's not looking good but it's all gonna pan out. We're not going to throw no rocks at him just yet. He did not break his relationship, he was still God's man, he's still God's prophet. But when he broke was fellowship. And Brother Branham says right on tape: anointed prophets make wrong decisions because they're humans. I knew the human William Branham. I wasn't sitting out there watching the miracles. I knew him.” — George Smith, "My Will or God's Will" — Literal Life Church, October 6, 2021 [22:13] [Watch ▶]
Context
Smith personally knew Branham and quotes him admitting prophets make wrong decisions — but if wrong decisions are possible, how can "Thus Saith the Lord" predictions be trusted?
“The man that examined it was a freelance. He didn't actually belong to the FBI. But he was freelance. His name was George J. Lacy.”— George Smith (Branham's associate), "The Book of Acts" — Believer's Spoken Word Tabernacle, 2025-02-23 [Watch ▶]
Context
Even George Smith — Branham's son-in-law — corrects the record in 2025: Lacy was freelance, not FBI. Yet most pastors continue repeating the false claim.
