I'm not going to spend the rest of my life trying to disprove the Believe the Sign people and all that sort of thing because you're not going to disprove them anyway. And I don't have to have it myself. Do you believe? I don't have to hold a paper from Louisville, Kentucky. I don't have to this and that and the other.”

— Donny Reagan, Word of Life Church, "Getting In The Spirit Pt.174", June 11, 2025 [1:11:52] [Watch ▶]

Context

Reagan inadvertently admits the critics cannot be disproven — "you're not going to disprove them anyway." His solution is to simply not engage rather than address the evidence.

“There's no way for us to check him out. He has no identification. He's only got a bunch of stories and we can't even prove them by newspapers. I mean, we've searched YouTube and we've searched Google and we searched the Courier Journal and we have no proof and no record that 16 men fell off of the bridge. So, he must be lying. We have no proof that some angel come up there to some cave somewhere. We only have his word for this.”

— Donny Reagan, Word of Life Church, "Getting In The Spirit Pt.177", July 5, 2025 [1:52:08] [Watch ▶]

Context

Reagan sarcastically mocks the idea of fact-checking Branham — but in doing so, he perfectly articulates the critics' actual position: there IS no proof in the Courier Journal, there IS no record of 16 men on the bridge, and we DO only have his word. His sarcasm accidentally validates the criticism.

“I couldn't find anywhere where the Courier Journal was able to authenticate that Daniel actually saw this angel. And I couldn't find on Snopes nowhere where they have any proof that this angel came to Daniel. And I realize we can only take Daniel's word for it. And we're supposed to have two or three witnesses, right?”

— Donny Reagan, Word of Life Church, "The Bride's Dowry Pt.9", December 10, 2025 [1:45:16] [Watch ▶]

🔊 Listen: https://messageanalytics-data-proxy.messageanalyticsproject.workers.dev/api/audio/minp29-multiple-sitting-message-pastors-acr.mp3

Context

Reagan compares Branham to the biblical prophet Daniel to argue that demanding evidence is inherently unreasonable. But Daniel never claimed a newspaper covered his visions — Branham did. Branham made specific, verifiable claims about newspapers, bridge deaths, and historical events. Those claims can and should be checked.

“We've got all these people attacking the message and trying to make the prophet false and make him this and that and the other. Try to convince them. Try to convince them of what they saw. Get some eyewitnesses of it. You think you'd ever be able to convince Peter that Jesus wasn't real?”

— Donny Reagan, Word of Life Church, "Getting In The Spirit Pt.180", July 30, 2025 [31:27] [Watch ▶]

🔊 Listen: https://messageanalytics-data-proxy.messageanalyticsproject.workers.dev/api/audio/minp36-multiple-sitting-message-pastors-acr.mp3

Context

Reagan compares Message believers to Peter — implying their personal experience overrides documented evidence. But Peter was an eyewitness to Jesus; today's Message believers are followers of recordings from a man who died in 1965. The analogy collapses under its own weight.

“Those people that want to make that charge and that accusation, apparently even those that was around the message for a long time and then turned away as a dog does to its vomit and a hog to its wallowing in the mire — apparently they never listened to very many tapes when they were supposedly in the message.”

— Donny Reagan, "Getting In The Spirit Pt.162" — Word of Life Church, February 19, 2025 [39:10] [Watch ▶]

🔊 Listen: https://messageanalytics-data-proxy.messageanalyticsproject.workers.dev/api/audio/minp38-multiple-sitting-message-pastors-acr.mp3

Context

Reagan compares ex-members to "dogs returning to vomit" — dehumanizing language that reveals fear more than confidence.

“If they don't turn back and repent and make right THE BLASPHEMOUS CHARGES against God's prophet — it will be more tolerable for them, all folks, THAT WAS DESTROYED at Sodom than it will be for those who've sat in a message church and turned. WHY? BECAUSE of truth, of enlightenment.”

— Donny Reagan, "The Bride's Dowry Pt.13" — Word of Life Church, January 21, 2026 [1:14:41] [Watch ▶]

🔊 Listen: https://messageanalytics-data-proxy.messageanalyticsproject.workers.dev/api/audio/minp39-multiple-sitting-message-pastors-acr.mp3

Context

Reagan says it will be "worse than Sodom" for those who leave — apocalyptic threats designed to terrify members into staying.

“you Hellbound creature of time if you don’t read these quotes you try to project God’s Prophet as being racist you will burn in hell... if you don’t read this quote when you put together your YouTube stuff you will burn in hell and this quote will stand before you at the day of judgment and I will stand there as a voice and say Lord they laugh this one out”

— Donny Reagan, Word of Life Church, "The Spirit of The Last Days", May 1, 2024 [Watch ▶]

🔊 Listen: https://messageanalytics-data-proxy.messageanalyticsproject.workers.dev/api/audio/minp85-donny-reagan-word-of-life-church-sha.mp3

Context

Reagan threatens critics of Branham’s racial statements with hellfire, calls them "Hellbound creatures of time," and positions himself as a witness at the final judgment against them.

“We believe if you disobey him, you go to hell and you will be annihilated. Should I go on? That's what we believe as message people. So when people say they're leaving the message, that's quite a mouthful.”

— Donny Reagan, Word of Life Church, "Getting In The Spirit Pt 176", June 25, 2025 [Watch ▶]

🔊 Listen: https://messageanalytics-data-proxy.messageanalyticsproject.workers.dev/api/audio/minp92-shawn-martin-faith-tabernacle-donny-.mp3

Context

Reagan explicitly states the belief: leave the Message = disobey God = hell and annihilation.

“I'd really weigh my odds when you're talking about leaving the message.”

— Donny Reagan, Word of Life Church, "Getting In The Spirit Pt 176", June 25, 2025 [Watch ▶]

🔊 Listen: https://messageanalytics-data-proxy.messageanalyticsproject.workers.dev/api/audio/minp93-shawn-martin-faith-tabernacle-donny-.mp3

Context

"Weigh your odds" — an implicit threat. Leave and you risk eternal annihilation.

“murder resides in their soul a lot of these people that have left the message they would be so tickled if I got killed in a car wreck going home tonight”

— Donny Reagan, Word of Life Church, "Getting In The Spirit 142", July 17, 2024 [Watch ▶]

🔊 Listen: https://messageanalytics-data-proxy.messageanalyticsproject.workers.dev/api/audio/minp94-shawn-martin-faith-tabernacle-donny-.mp3

Context

Accuses ex-members of harboring murderous intent. Extreme demonization of people who simply left a church.

“many of the ones that I have talked to and dealt with by emails. I have never dealt with people with such spirits on them. They hate the prophet. They hate the message. They hate you. They hate every preacher that preaches it. And it's like they have come under an anointing. An anointing to destroy.”

— Donny Reagan, Word of Life Church, "The Bride's Dowry Pt.10", December 17, 2025 [Watch ▶]

🔊 Listen: https://messageanalytics-data-proxy.messageanalyticsproject.workers.dev/api/audio/minp95-shawn-martin-faith-tabernacle-donny-.mp3

Context

Ex-members are under a demonic "anointing to destroy." Classic cult isolation rhetoric that paints everyone who leaves as an enemy.

“The devil knows you’ll never get born again just by assembling somewhere AND PRESSING PLAY. IT DON’T PASS THROUGH A TAPE. IT DON’T PASS THROUGH A MAGNETIC DEVICE. IT’S GOT TO COME THROUGH THE BODY. A TAPE PLAYER IS NOT A PART OF THE BODY OF CHRIST.”

— Donny Reagan, Word of Life Church, "The Bride’s Dowry Pt.7", November 12, 2025 [Watch ▶]

🔊 Listen: https://messageanalytics-data-proxy.messageanalyticsproject.workers.dev/api/audio/minp24-barry-coffey-donny-reagan-ron-peters.mp3

Context

Reagan declares "a tape player is not a part of the body of Christ" — directly attacking the core VGR teaching.

“Say what he said, not play what he said, but say what he said. Tell me, how can I say what the tapes say if I don’t say what the tape said? He didn’t say play what the tapes play, but say what the tapes say. The fivefold ministry is not playing stop, fast-forward, rewind and pause.”

— Donny Reagan, Word of Life Church, "The Church Pt.9", January 25, 2018 [Watch ▶]

🔊 Listen: https://messageanalytics-data-proxy.messageanalyticsproject.workers.dev/api/audio/minp116-jesse-smith-barry-coffey-donny-reaga.mp3

Context

Reagan sharply distinguishes "saying" from "playing" — mocking tape churches as mechanical button-pushers.

“We're more divided than ever before. I ain't talking about the denominations and all. Even in our own ranks, it's a paradox. As we've already been told — it'll be a paradox if she ever gets together.”

— Donny Reagan, Word of Life Church, "The Bride's Bill Of Rights Pt.73", May 11, 2025 [44:36] [Watch ▶]

🔊 Listen: https://messageanalytics-data-proxy.messageanalyticsproject.workers.dev/api/audio/minp172-jesse-robledo-donny-reagan-charles-p.mp3

Context

Even Reagan — one of the most hardline Message pastors — admits the movement is "more divided than ever before" and calls unity "a paradox."
