=Visiting the graves of the founders of the great religions=
William Branham talked a lot about going overseas but most of the trips he planned were canceled.  He stated that he had been around the world seven times but we have been unable to confirm this.  The only time he actually could have gone around the world was when he visited India in 1954. However, he went to India via Europe and Egypt and stated he returned home the same route.

William Branham said that he had visited the graves of Mohammed, Buddha and Confucius:

===Did William Branham visit the grave of Muhammad?===
The facts are:
#Muhammad is buried in the Al-Masjid al-Nabawi ("Mosque of the Prophet") in the city of Medina in Saudi Arabia.
#There is no indication that William Branham was ever in Saudi Arabia.  He did land in Egypt twice on his flights to and from India.
#William Branham also stated that he noticed at the grave of Muhammad that there was "a white horse that stands there" which is changed every four hours in preparation of him rising from the dead.  However, Islam does not teach that their prophet will resurrect (other than in the general resurrection which referred to as " Yawm ad-Dīn" in Arabic) and there is '''no white horse standing at the grave of Muhammad'''.
#In 1958, William Branham admitted that he had been in a country "near the grave of Mohammed" and not the actual grave itself.<ref>William Branham,  58-0128 - The Oneness Of Unity, para. 18</ref>
The conclusion: '''William Branham lied about visiting the graves of Muhammed.'''

==Did William Branham visit King Farouk in Egypt?==
In 1961, William Branham stated that he had met King Farouk in Egypt:
:''And when I got off at Cairo, Egypt, just before we met that King Farouk...<ref>William Branham, 61-0217 - The Mark Of The Beast And The Seal Of God #2, para. 50</ref>
This would have been in 1954 on his way to India.  However, we know that this could not possibly be true because Farouk was deposed in the Egyptian Revolution of 1952.  He was forced to abdicate and went into exile in Monaco and Italy, where he lived until his death in 1965.  He was not in Egypt in 1954!
Conclusion: '''William Branham lied about visiting King Farouk in Egypt.'''
