William Branham said that the story was carried by a paper (1950), the "Courier Journal" (1951), the "Sunday Visitor" (1954), the "Louisville Herald", and the "Associated Press" (1961). However, since no one has been able to produce a single copy of any newspaper articles, it does not appear that it ever was reported in any newspaper.

We have also conducted searches in various newspaper archives but have been unable to find any references to William Branham in 1933.

If you have a copy of any such article, please let us know.
