'''Q:''' Is it possible to lose your salvation?
William Branham believed that salvation (and healing) only lasted as long as your faith lasted.

:''Somebody says, "How does Divine healing... Is it... Does it last all the time?" It lasts just as long as faith lasts. And salvation lasts the same way, just as long as faith lasts. When you feel that you're not saved any more, you're not saved. For it's by faith are you saved through grace. Is that right?

:''Oh, brother. Some men so narrow-minded, you put a pencil between their eyes it'd blind them. That's right, so narrow- sighted... Sure. Salvation is--lasts as long as faith lasts. And Divine healing lasts as long as faith lasts.
This is clearly false teaching. It is impossible to lose your salvation in the same way it’s impossible to stop being your parents’ child. You are children by birth. Once you are born, you are born. Even if you are not acting like a well-behaved child, you are still a child because you are a child by birth.
What would have to happen for you to lose your salvation, once you have been foreknown, predestined, called, justified, and glorified by God? For that to happen, God would have to throw the entire plan of salvation into reverse. Jesus would have to rise from his throne, go backward through the ascension (now a descension), enter the tomb again, be placed upon the cross, and then come down from it. For you to perish, the atonement would have had never to have happened. Only then could you be lost. But it has happened, according to the plan of God. And the fact that Jesus has been raised from the dead, brought to heaven, and been seated on the right hand of God the Father is proof that it has been accomplished. Your security is now as certain as the Lord’s enthronement, which means that it is as unshakable as Jesus himself. <ref>James Montgomery Boice, Romans, Volume 2: The Reign of Grace, 980 (Grand Rapids, MI: Baker Book House, 1991-)</ref>.

If you are having issues with anger and cursing, it is simply a sign that you do not have the Holy Spirit yet. Notice I said "yet". There is nothing wrong with seeking for the Holy Spirit - in fact there is everything right about realizing you are insufficient on your own and that the Holy Spirit needs to take control. You are not the first person that needed the blood of Jesus Christ to cover their sins - all you have to do is read the Apostle Paul's testimony, and the testimony of John Newton (who wrote the song Amazing Grace). | If you are having issues with anger and cursing, it is simply a sign that you do not have the Holy Spirit yet. Third - Try to manually replace your cursing with praise - do not just expect it to magically happen. How can you do this? For starters you could listen to music that is based on the scriptures. King Saul used David's musical talent to keep the demon of anger out of his life, and you can do the same. | Third - Try to manually replace your cursing with praise - do not just expect it to magically happen. Fourth - | Fourth - Live for others, and you will forget your own problems.
Finally - Have patience. In the Bible, God have Abraham a promise, but that promise took time to arrive. This may be your test of faith.
