The Comparison

William Branham often compared people who did not believe his message with people that rejected the truth in the Bible.

    Is this the correct comparison?

    William Branham's comparisons

William Branham talked about how people failed to get on Noah's Ark. He was right.

William Branham talked about how the Egyptians refused to follow Moses. He was right.

William Branham talked about how people rejected Jesus when He was on earth. He was right.

These facts are presented in the Bible, so they are true.

But William Branham also compared people who do not believe his teachings with those who failed to get on Noah's Ark, those who didn't follow Moses, and those who rejected Jesus.

But this is the wrong comparison! People did not believe William Branham's teachings because his teachings were not Scriptural.

    The correct comparison

Those who reject William Branham's message but willingly accept the Gospel of Christ are like the Bereans who received the word with all eagerness, examining the Scriptures daily to see if these things were so.[1]

Those who embrace the beautiful Gospel of Jesus Christ (instead of 'another gospel' presented by a man) are the ones who have chosen the Ark of Safety.

Those who can accept God's way of deliverance through the New Covenant of Grace (instead of man-made rules and traditions) are like those who followed Moses out of Egypt.

Those who reject William Branham's message but willingly accept the Gospel of Christ are those who have obeyed the teaching of the Apostle John who said, "Do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world."[2]

And those who accept the Perfect Atonement of Jesus Christ as being sufficient (without adding anything to it) are like those who accepted Him when He was on earth.

William Branham often used Biblical truth to build a platform in which he would place himself. But, the problem is, he does not fit into the Scriptures he claims to fulfill and his teachings are not Scriptural. Therefore the only way you can believe him is to reject the plain reading of the Bible because you "have a revelation" or just "only believe" his teachings.

    Quotes of William Branham

"You say, "Brother Branham, at one time I didn't believe this message." That's right, I guess many of you didn't. I wouldn't have done it, I guess, myself. I couldn't have done it 'less God revealed it to me. You'd have... It's a revelation. The whole church is built on revelation. Without the revelation you'll never see it; you're blind." [3]

"You have to only believe. This message is not in vain; it's the Word of God."[4]

"I believe this because It's the Word of God. I challenge anybody to correct me in it. See? That's right. This is the Word. Stay with this. This is true." [5]
