Jesus fulfilled many Old Testament prophecies during his ministry on earth. Some of these came about by the decisions of others, and seemed to happen by chance - such as Jesus birth in the city of Bethlehem. Other prophecies came about by supernatural intervention - such as the virgin birth of Jesus, and an Angel's direction to Joseph to flee to and then return from Egypt.
