Did William Branham visit the grave of Buddha?

Did William Branham visit the grave of Muhammad?

The facts are:

  1. Muhammad is buried in the Al-Masjid al-Nabawi ("Mosque of the Prophet") in the city of Medina in Saudi Arabia.
  2. There is no indication that William Branham was ever in Saudi Arabia. He did land in Egypt twice on his flights to and from India.
  3. William Branham also stated that he noticed at the grave of Muhammad that there was "a white horse that stands there" which is changed every four hours in preparation of him rising from the dead. However, Islam does not teach that their prophet will resurrect (other than in the general resurrection which referred to as " Yawm ad-Dīn" in Arabic) and there is no white horse standing at the grave of Muhammad.
  4. In 1958, William Branham admitted that he had been in "the country near the grave of Mohammed" (we assume he was referring to Egypt) and not the actual grave itself.[2]

The conclusion: William Branham lied about visiting the graves of Muhammed.

Did William Branham travel around the world seven times?

William Branham talked a lot about going overseas but most of the trips he planned were canceled. He stated that he had been around the world seven times but we have been unable to confirm this. The only time he actually could have gone around the world was when he visited India in 1954. However, he went to India via Europe and Egypt and stated he returned home the same route.

The facts:

  1. He appears to have gone overseas a total of 5 times.
  2. He never actually went around the world even once.
  3. He was never in Australia or New Zealand and the trip to India was his only trip to Asia.
  4. He was in Africa twice
  5. He was in Europe three times, one of which was on his trip to India.

it appears that William Branham considered a trip across the Atlantic Ocean to be a trip "around the world".

Did he travel around the world seven times? No!

Did he travel around the world even once? No!

Here are the trips of William Branham that we are aware of:

  4. 1955 (June) - Travelled to Switzerland and Germany

Other Lies of William Branham about his travels

Did William Branham visit King Farouk in Egypt?

In 1961, William Branham stated that he had met King Farouk in Egypt:

And when I got off at Cairo, Egypt, just before we met that King Farouk...[3]

This would have been in 1954 on his way to India. However, we know that this could not possibly be true because Farouk was deposed in the Egyptian Revolution of 1952. He was forced to abdicate and went into exile in Monaco and Italy, where he lived until his death in 1965. He was not in Egypt in 1954!

Conclusion: William Branham lied about visiting King Farouk in Egypt.

You ought heard what Morris Reidhead said about that when that Mohammedan had his education and going back. Here sometime ago, noticing at the grave of Mohammed, at Mohammed's grave there's a white horse that stands there. It's been there for two thousand years.
