Temporary Salvation
The UnconvertedQ: Are those who died without hearing the gospel of our Lord in hell or heaven? At the end of the day, every person who has not accepted Jesus Christ will stand before God in judgment, and he will decide their future. Without the blood of Jesus Christ, there is no assurance of salvation - only uncertainty, perhaps a hope for mercy, and a fear of judgment. In contrast, the New Testament is a gospel of salvation, which is a gospel of assurance. That is why we tell the world about Jesus Christ. The purpose of sharing the Gospel is not to condemn people to hell for denying the truth, but to give those that respond an inheritance with Jesus Christ. It is not our position to judge. No fruit of the SpiritQ:I often get mad at God about my situation in life, and I end up cursing at God all the time and using his name in vain and I feel so guilty. Am I going to hell and and how can I control my anger? Answer 1: Are you going to hell? If you are having issues with anger and cursing, it is simply a sign that you do not have the Holy Spirit yet. Notice I said "yet". There is nothing wrong with seeking for the Holy Spirit - in fact there is everything right about realizing you are insufficient on your own and that the Holy Spirit needs to take control. You are not the first person that needed the blood of Jesus Christ to cover their sins - all you have to do is read the Apostle Paul's testimony, and the testimony of John Newton (who wrote the song Amazing Grace). William Branham said That's the reason you have your ups-and-downs, and ins-and-outs, and all the things you're doing. It's because you try to do it. You say, "Oh, I believe I'm all right now." That ain't it. ...No, it's the Holy Spirit that comes in. He takes the place. He takes all the old roots of bitterness out, the old anger, and temper, and jealousy, and love of the world, and things, and takes it all out of you, and then you're a new creature. Here are a few helpful points. You may also want to discuss this with a friend or a minister. First - read the Bible, and you will find the answers to your problems in the Word of God.
Second - Pray that the Lord will overcome for you. Third - Try to manually replace your cursing with praise - do not just expect it to magically happen. How can you do this? For starters you could listen to music that is based on the scriptures. King Saul used David's musical talent to keep the demon of anger out of his life, and you can do the same. Fourth - Read Owen Jorgensen's books "Supernatural: William Branham", especially books 1 and 2, where William Branham has his own battles with anger, hatred, and loss. Or read William Branham's sermon entitled "Life Story" at www.thefreeword.com. Once you understand where William Branham is coming from by listening to or reading his life story, please listen to or read his other sermons with this understanding in mind. Fifth - Live for others, and you will forget your own problems. Finally - Have patience. In the Bible, God have Abraham a promise, but that promise took time to arrive. This may be your test of faith. |
