Post Script: An Apostle may well have the Gift of Prophecy, and Paul certainly spoke with God’s Authority, but as an apostle not merely as a prophet. Just as Jesus was a Prophet to the Jews, He was also the Messiah. | Post Script: An Apostle may well have the Gift of Prophecy, and Paul certainly spoke with God’s Authority, but as an apostle not merely as a prophet. I noticed after re-reading your reply that you DID identify by name some prophets, but you haven’t provided the scriptural definition of how to examine someone who proclaims that they are a prophet of God to determine that they really are. God has a scriptural definition, and there are several attributes and characteristics of a prophet of God. We can use three or four of those attributes with regard to Branham to speak about his qualifications as a prophet of God. | I noticed after re-reading your reply that you DID identify by name some prophets, but you haven’t provided the scriptural definition of how to examine someone who proclaims that they are a prophet of God to determine that they really are.
