+::In 2 Kings 18:4, King Hezekiah destroyed the last remnant of Moses' healing ministry - the brass serpent. Hezekiah called it Nehushtan, which means 'piece of of brass'. Yet he was commended for doing what was right in the sight of the LORD. He did this because people had taken a prophet's message, and created an idol.

I would call that a 'piece of wood'. If you have one, get rid of it.
