=Couldn't be built today?=
William Branham stated:
:''And they were much better scientists than we have today. Go down in Egypt and look at the pyramids setting in the middle of the earth. No matter where the sun is, there's never… Geographically, it's in the center of the earth. There's never a shadow around it, no matter where the sun is. How'd they do that? And '''these boulders, at least two city blocks high, that weigh a billion tons''', how'd they get them up there? '''Produce something now that'll lift them up there. They can't do it.''' They can't make mummies today, as they did in them days with the body. They can't embalm like they did. None of those things. They were smarter, really than they are today.<ref>William Branham, 53-1111 - Preparation, para. 35</ref>
So let's start with his first statement, which is that the individual stones that were used to make up the pyramids weigh a billion tons. This is show wrong by just simply looking up "how much do the pyramids weigh" in Google.
It says that they biggest one weighs around 6.5 million tons. This information was also available at the time he made this statement. Each stone in the pyramid weighs around 3 tons each. A full grown person can pull 3,500 lbs or 1.75 tons if something is on wheels (the weight of a mini van) as is seen in this video:

So while it would be very hard, two or three people could pull 3 tons or a pyramid stone that is on a tree type rolling system but at the time when the pyramids were being built the Egyptians had over 100,000 slaves and it took around 104 years to build. So if you have 100,000 slaves that means you can pull 33,333 stones. Now take that pulling power over 104 years!!
Lastly, the early Greeks had a crane that was able to lift around 20 tons. Today we have cranes that can lift 20,000 tons. So to say that it could never be done is, at best, an ignorant statement, and to say the Egyptians were smarter than us is a lie.  The stupidity is in not checking out the facts and communicating that ignorant statement to thousands of people.
