Leonard enjoyed a long and satisfying Christian life, and had the opportunity to minister through song as a member of the Bergen Quartet, which travelled across Western Canada and the Northern United States in the 1940s.  A couple of recordings of the Bergen Quartet from 1951 can be found on [http://www.messagemusic.org the messagemusic.org website]. Leonard was a respected husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, and reached the age of 82 before he was called home by his heavenly Father.
