So let's start with his first statement, which is that the individual stones that were used to make up the pyramids weigh a billion tons. This is show wrong by just simply looking up "how much do the pyramids weigh" in Google. | So let's start with his first statement, which is that the individual stones that were used to make up the pyramids weigh a billion tons. The Great Pyramid weighs somewhere in excess of 6 million tonnes. Wikipedia states:
:''The Great Pyramid consists of an estimated 2.3 million blocks which most believe to have been transported from nearby quarries. The Tura limestone used for the casing was quarried across the river. The largest granite stones in the pyramid, found in the "King's" chamber, weigh 25 to 80 tonnes and were transported from Aswan, more than 800 km (500 mi) away. Traditionally, ancient Egyptians cut stone blocks by hammering into them some wooden wedges, which were then soaked with water. As the water was absorbed, the wedges expanded, causing the rock to crack. Once they were cut, they were carried by boat either up or down the Nile River to the pyramid. It is estimated that 5.5 million tonnes of limestone, 8,000 tonnes of granite (imported from Aswan), and 500,000 tonnes of mortar were used in the construction of the Great Pyramid.
A modern construction management study estimated that the total project required an average workforce of 14,567 people, a peak workforce of 40,000 and would have taken around 10 years to complete the Great Pyramid from start to finish.
A full grown person can pull 3,500 lbs or 1.6 tonnes if something is on wheels (the weight of a mini van) as is seen in this video:

Lastly, the early Greeks had a crane that was able to lift around 20 tons. Today we have cranes that can lift 20,000 tons. So to say that it could never be done is, at best, an ignorant statement, and to say the Egyptians were smarter than us is a lie. The stupidity is in not checking out the facts and communicating that ignorant statement to thousands of people. | So while it would be very hard, three or four people could pull the 3 tonnes for a small pyramid stone that is on a tree type rolling system. And 80 people (or less) could likely pull the largest stone. But they had over 10,000 people, so what's the problem?

So to say that it could never be done even today is, at best, an ignorant statement, and to say the Egyptians were smarter than us is a lie. The real stupidity is in not checking out the facts and then communicating that ignorant statement to thousands of people who thought of him as infallible.
