Both the New Testament and the Old Testament agree that God is our Father.  While the word "Father" is a title, the name of the Father is [[Jehovah]], or LORD.  As the Son of God, Jesus fulfilled the will of the Father on earth, and declared his Father's name, which was his own name: Jesus (meaning "Jehovah saves").

''After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.'' (Matthew 6:9-13)
