Is plagiarism acceptable? Did William Branham plagiarize from others?

Plagiarism is the act of taking someone else's work or ideas and passing them off as one's own.

Here is what the Lord thinks of plagiarism by someone calling himself a prophet.

'''Jeremiah 23:30'''

:''Therefore, behold, I am against the prophets, saith the LORD, that steal my words every one from his neighbour.''  (KJV)

:''So I, the LORD, affirm that I am opposed to those prophets who steal messages from one another that they claim are from me.'' (NET)

:''I am against those prophets who take each other’s words and proclaim them as my message.''  (GNT)

:''“Therefore,” says the LORD, “I am against these prophets who steal messages from each other and claim they are from me.'' (NLT)

:''“Therefore,” declares the LORD, “I am against the prophets who steal from one another words supposedly from me.'' (NIV)

It is clear that God is against plagiarism, particularly when the person doing the plagiarism says that they got their inspiration from God.

We must not forget that the “SEVENTH SEAL” includes all that happens during the sounding of the “Trumpets,” and the pouring out of the “Vials,” and so extends down to the '''ushering in of the Millennium.'''
