William Branham prophesied that the return of Christ would take place while the seventh messenger was on earth.  Did this happen?

This prophecy is the cause for may strange doctrines that arise in the message, such as the Third Testament sect of Donald Parnell who teaches that Jesus Christ's second coming happened in 1963.

Message preachers explain this by stating that Christ came secretly (using the same twisted theology used by Jehovah's Witnesses) when William Branham preached his series on the Seven Seals.  If they didn't use this explanation, then they would be forced to admit that William Branham was a false prophet.  [[Cognitive Dissonance]] won't permit them to do this.
