Why the Message is Another Gospel

Paul talks about someone who "comes and proclaims another Jesus different from the one we proclaimed... or a different gospel than the one you accepted..."[1]

Paul also tells the Galatian church:

I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one who called you by the grace of Christ and are following a different gospel — not that there really is another gospel, but there are some who are disturbing you and wanting to distort the gospel of Christ.[2]

Does this apply to the message?

    Is the message another gospel?

Is the message a distortion of the true Gospel?

William Branham acknowledged the message was something extra

    William Branham stated:

If you believe the message of the Bible, and the present Message of the day[3]

William Branham recognized that in order to follow him a person has to believe the Bible AND the present message of the day. This is only necessary if the message is an add-on to the Bible.

=William Branham taught that it was his mesage

    Quotes of William Branham

He will give you your heart's desire. Line up, you with the prayer cards. Come right over on this side and them line up. He's good. I seen Him bring a plane down out of the air, hold me there all night, and all day the next day to—for the faith of a colored woman for her dying boy. Sure. Do you believe? Do you believe the message? If you can't believe the message, well, you'll never believe the messenger, I'm sure. But if it is the message, God will vindicate it.Cite error: Closing </ref> missing for <ref> tag

A Message goes through, the people see It, they make fun of It (the world does). And then after the messenger is finished and the Message is done, then they build a denomination upon the Message. And there they die, right there, never come to Life again.[4]

He did in that age just as He did in all ages, and like He will do, just as He promised to do. God promises anything, then He comes down and proves His Word to be right. All that believe, all that believe the Message of that age, come in and was saved. So will it be in any age. All who did not believe the Message and the messenger, perished. And all who truly believe the Word of God today, will be taken out. All that does not believe the Word of God, will perish with the world, 'cause they are of the world, and everything that's in the world must perish with the world.[5]

You was in your father, as a germ, and you come forth as a daughter; you, you, every one of you, brothers and sisters, you come forth. If you wasn't in your father, then you wouldn't have been here.

And if you wasn't in God… If you believe the message of the Bible, and the present Message of the day, a vindication of It; the reason you are sitting here, because you were predestinated to set here. You wouldn't have been here, otherwise; you would have been on the street, maybe drunk, some of you; and some of you out here and running around with some other man's wife; and you women out, married, and running around with some other women's husband, or something like that. See, but you were predestinated to be here.[6]
