The Angel of William Branham

    From BelieveTheSign

    Who was William Branham's angel?

"I do not pray in the name of the Angel, or even know His name. But if you'll check the Scriptures, when God sends His people, it's an Angel that directs them." 48-0304

YET, HE PRAYS TO HIS ANGEL. "Oh, before You, I bow to ask You with all my heart. Angel of God, You Who came into the room that night, and told me these things... I've tried to live true to it." 48-0302

"Angel of God, I do not see You. But I know that You are standing near. Please, Thou knowest my heart, and know how I love these people. Stand by me tonight." 48-0305

HE PRAYS FOR HIS ANGEL TO CLEANSE HIM. "And then, Father, I've been dilatory about You, serving You, many times maybe I could have went longer when I didn't do it. Father, I confess my sins. I want the Angel of God to cleanse me from that, by the Blood of Jesus." 62-0909E

HE CONDONES SOMEONE ELSE PRAYING TO HIS ANGEL. "And she got down and took that picture, that the Lord taken His picture, of the Pillar of Fire. All of you seen it, I suppose. Set it down on the floor, and she said, 'Dear God of Heaven,' she said, 'Help me to find Brother Branham at once. I must do it.' And she said, 'Angel of God guide me to him.' That's what it takes." 56-1230

THE BIBLE SAYS: "Let no one disqualify you, insisting on asceticism and worship of angels, going on in detail about visions, puffed up without reason by his sensuous mind." (Colossians 2:18)

    Quotes of William Branham

42 And just then, friend… Now remember, one day I'm going to leave this world myself. The Angel told me that it would take place, it took place just then; I felt it. And I went down and had prayer for her; the vibrations stopped. And I said, "Sister, you're going to be well." 47-1207 - Experiences

Now the Angel of God had told me it would come to pass that they wouldn't believe unless there was a miracle. 47-1102 - The Angel Of God

May the Angel that spoke to me that night in the room be near Thy servant's side at this time to confirm the Word with many signs and wonders following. 47-0412 - Faith Is The Substance

And I guess there's some sitting here from about ten or twelve years ago in this tabernacle, when I made that same statement here one time. How many is here remembers that? Just look at the old hands that's left. Something in you, I said there's something I can almost touch it. It's at hand. Little did I know after the Angel spoke down here at the river before you all and said "As John was sent as a forerunner of the first coming; you'll send a message around the world." It's happened.[1]

Now, I heard people say, "An Angel spoke to me, He said, 'thus and thus.'" How ridiculous sometime; and I've heard people say that a Angel spoke to them, and told them "thus and thus" which was absolutely contrary to the Word. Now, how could an Angel do that? It just couldn't be. And if God told you a certain-certain thing would happen (you say He told you that), and it doesn't happen, then it wasn't God speaking to you. Just remember, that's right. God doesn't lie. He's not found in a lie. [2]

117 Do you know God promised this to happen in the last days? He made the promise. See? Now I can't make it happen. See, I—I cannot do that. He has to do that. He is the One Who does it; not me. But I believe in Him, or I wouldn't be standing here telling you something that I didn't believe in. Now, you pray, and you say, "Lord Jesus, I'm taught in the Bible that You're a High Priest right now, that can be touched by the feeling of our infirmities." I don't care where you are. And just say, "I believe You. And, by faith, I believe what that man said today." 118 That's what the Angel told me, "Get the people to believe you." And if I tell the Word of God, it ain't "believe me," it's "believe the Word." 64-0614E - The Oddball
