While William Branham was respected within the Pentecostal movement for his gifts of healing and discernment, he also taught many doctrines that were at odds with Christian orthodoxy.
We are in the process of studying each of these doctrines, as we can no longer say with confidence that they reflect what is contained in the Bible. As we complete our research, we will revise these articles accordingly, reflecting what William Branham taught and where this disagrees with scripture.
The following are a list of those doctrines that:
(1) are in general disagreement with those that have been historically taught by the Christian church,
(2) are unique to William Branham, or
(3) were strongly emphasized by him, making them an important part of his teaching:
- Three holy words of the Bible
- The Serpent's Seed
- Mixing Law and Grace
- Women Angels
- Water baptism
- Hell is not eternal
- The Godhead
- Seven Church Ages
- Seven Seals
- Mystery Babylon
